Why sisters are annoying

Having a sibling is definitely one of the best feelings in the world, and if the sibling is a sister, then they make your life a tough one. It doesn’t matter if a sister is younger or older, the consequences of both will be the same. This is a very old topic that even the greatest of people couldn’t figure out how we can tackle them in the best possible way and turn out victorious, but it is still one of the biggest unsolved mysteries in the universe. This is a very pun-intended topic, so I strictly urge you to take everything seriously, because whatever younger siblings say about sisters, it’s always true whether you believe it or not.

The meaning of the word sister is a female sibling. As we all know, it’s very tough to understand sisters and keep up the good behaviour with them for long. If they’re in a bad mood, they won’t speak in the best of ways. But, even if they’re in a very good mood, the way of talking doesn’t change at all! There might be some things I understand about a sister: She’s a female, she’s the daughter of my parents, etcetera. But apart from all these general facts, I don’t have a clue what goes through her mind. I would also like to clarify that this article mainly refers to older sisters, as it is from a younger brother’s point of view. It’ll be very relatable for younger siblings who’ve lived their entire life without having somebody behind their back.

Another interesting thing that we’ll notice is that we only tend to argue and get irritated with sisters, and hardly have troubles with brothers. It’s so different with sisters. The most important thing with sisters is to not test their patience. However calm they are in front of others, things are completely different with you. With the amount of irritation and infuriation that a sister possesses, they must receive an award for their legendary achievement.

When we deeply think of the world ‘older’, we imagine a smart and mature person who is very self-assured and more importantly, no longer younger. But in this case, I don’t see a single quality in sisters. When it is added in front of sisters, it’s just for the sake of the name. Most of the time they hang around like they’re little kids, and rarely do we see them handling those responsibilities. They possess the ability to disregard us intentionally. In simple words, they have the power of ignoring us and they act in a way that we don’t exist at all! Very impressive stuff, but the younger siblings aren’t gifted with this ability, even though how hard they try to pull it off, doesn’t happen. What a shame.

The older sisters really think of themselves as a supreme authority and always want special treatment and attention from all. After all, they’re the first-borns and need that ‘extra special treatment’. They boss the little siblings around, and keep you busy with Herculean tasks, which we can’t refuse, cause they’re ‘the older ones’. They boss us around even in the absence of our parents, and howdy are we okay with that? Our lives at home are ruined almost every other time with commands, and we struggle to keep a peaceful mind as a continuous chain of words keeps blabbering out of her mouth. If you refuse to do it, she’s got innumerable ways to punish you (let’s not get into that).

They get away with things every time! Not a single time you expect them to land in trouble and it’s time for you to have the last laugh. There are plenty of arguments, and when they run out of stuff, there’s only one thing they say by yelling their voices out: SHUT UP! They can shut us up in front of our parents without getting in trouble, and the otherwise happens with the innocent, younger siblings. They can get us in trouble in seconds, which shows how threatening and powerful they are. Sisters love to snitch on us, and that is one of the most important points in their book ‘Infinite ways to annoy siblings’. They can’t live a day without teasing the younger ones, and we give them the best competition. The Brother-Sister fights go on forever, but as always, our efforts go in vain and once again they gain the upper hand, thanks to parents.

People normally say that younger siblings keep exaggerating about how bossy, irritating, annoying, impossible ( I could go on forever) they are. Even though everything we say is more than the truth, their image stays good as ever. We learn most descriptive words because of sisters (although they’re negative). Thousands of people in the world claim that they want sisters, but the ones who do definitely need to think otherwise. These creatures ruin our lives by constantly bothering and teasing us all day. Their unnecessary complaints eliminate our motivation to be productive.

Looking at the recent developments, I hope that we find out some way that we can dominate older sisters. After all these years, people have somehow not been able to get hold of the formula form which we can find out why these beings are so annoying, and a way from which we can finally CONQUER THEM. Jokes apart, however annoying and irritating our sisters are, in the end we should remember they do care about us, even in the smallest of portions. Whatever I’ve written in this article about sisters is absolutely correct and very relatable to all (no exaggeration). I’ve probably missed several points on sisters, and why not, there are thousands to choose from.
