75th Independence Day

It’s one of the biggest days in the calendar, as India completes its 75th Independence Day and who would’ve even imagined that India will complete this mega-milestone when we first achieved independence. If you ask any person from August 1947 about this grand occasion, for them it might just be yesterday that they were fighting their way out of the British, and finally what Mahatma Gandhi had dreamt for. These freedom fighters might be old now, but if you look at it 75 seasons ago, all these were youngsters who had dreamt for an Independent India, and successfully achieved the same.

One of the main goals India successfully completed under GandhiJi was to achieve independence across several departments. India was a very newly-formed ‘independent’ nation then, and it would’ve been a tough call for them to continue business with the other countries, especially the British. India smartly managed trades, and business with the other countries, mostly importing goods from other countries. It took them a lot of time to build their own foundation in the global world, which included supplying quality goods like spices across several countries, and India became a constant supplier, instead of being the purchaser.

In the early 80s, India had lost a lot of youngsters to overseas countries like the US and the UK, and to what it looked like, veterans expected more youngsters to follow the same route of going to other countries for better career and money opportunities compared to their home-land. Many had already declared that India would be finished had the youngsters not stayed and instead left for other countries, instead of developing their own.

But suddenly, there were youngsters who still had the grit to keep up India across every department like business, supplying goods, etcetera. The then youngsters like Narayan Murthy and star Tycoon Dhirubhai Ambani could’ve easily given up after a couple of failures early on, but they had the patience to achieve success not only for themselves, but for the entire nation. A couple of years ago, India used to import nearly 3000 mobiles from other countries, but according to the latest reports, they’ve been exporting mobiles instead, all the credit to the youngsters of India. To be self-dependent, youngsters implemented their ideas in their own home soil without a lot of financial resources, and they would’ve been more successful in other countries, but the grit and determination to imply it India, achieved them more respect, which is a lot more times bigger than monetary benefits.

Instead of demotivating youngsters of this generation, there is need of support from the entire community in shaping up the future India. The government and the PM have played their parts in doing so, and it’s now time for the veterans to do the same. Backing youngsters can make them stronger, and they can have a seriously good impact in the future. It’s always the youngsters who start things, as we’ve seen so many. The underrated youngsters are ruling over the world with exemplary projects and ideas, and it’s all because of support and backing.

As a youngster, I would love to contribute more towards the nation’s benefits, and all I hope is that my article on shaping young Indians and backing them somehow makes an impact.

Ayo bro, the independence day blog was pretty special. I'm someone who reads a lot of blogs and I gotta say, this was by far the best independence day blog I've read in 2-3 years or so. There is room for improvement, but it doesn't matter as this blog was good, with or without improvement
